OBJECTIVES
The purpose of having an internal area is to make available to its users (internal users, suppliers, collaborators, etc.) an area dedicated to them, separated from the public site after being able to access, after authentication, sections, applications or confidential documents. The internal area will therefore be an extension of the public site with restricted access. The internal area can be accessed directly from the Internet or only from the intranet according to the customer’s requests, moreover access will be conditioned by an authentication system (username / password, two-factor authentication, captcha, etc). Specific applications may be published within the internal area (see Forum , File Exchange , Webconference).INTERNAL AREA FEATURES
♦ Unlike a “classic” private area, in this case groups of users are envisaged. In this way, by assigning each user to a specific group, access permissions can be managed separately. ♦ A private area is developed that can be accessed directly from the web domain (eg. Www.example.it). ♦ The site will immediately present the login mask where enabled users will be able to access with their previously received credentials. ♦ The customer will proceed with the insertion / management of the groups. ♦ The customer will proceed with the insertion / management of “enabled” users, assigning them to the relevant groups. ♦ The private area may be composed of further sub-sections such as: ◊ Useful Links : a page with the list of useful sites. ◊ Forum : where users can actively participate in discussions. ◊ File Exchange : where users can exchange and share files (refer to the ownCloud service).
